Band of Eight Productions is dedicated to helping gamemasters and players bring those truly great sessions to life through the development of innovative gaming materials compatible with the popular D20 system. We have always enjoyed the same kind of games. and we've always striven for those sessions, adventures and campaigns that maintain that perfect balance of technical gaming and unabashed theatrics that separates run-of-the-mill games from the truly great events that we feel privileged to be part of. Never satisfied with what was provided and always taking our favorite authors' encouragement to "make adjustments as necessary" we worked and reworked the efforts of others to suit our own needs. After years of producing vast amounts of game materials, as well as producing song compilations for each game, name badges, name placards, initiative boards and a vast amount of other senseless detail, we finally decided to just go for it. Why not? We figured we were already producing little "micro-conventions" between our two groups (Danny's in Milwaukee WI and Bruce’s in Chicago IL) so why not take it to the next level? Danny has about ten years of entrepreneurial experience and Bruce has a PhD after his name and we both loved to write and run games. Playing mainly from dense outlines and using plenty of off the cuff decision making, we were running games that people really seemed to enjoy. We hope you are one of those people.
